Need your opinion please.

Okay,  I have been wanting to write a story about me and my friends,  partly real life partly fictional.

First question,  I was thinking if it's better to mix the idol in different group which I think best suit them,  or I take out one boy band to represent them?

Second question,  college or working life better?

Third,  do readers still read if it's not their bias?

Thanks

It is OK to mix two groups, i think. And you can choose both something like college life with part time job. ^^

mix idol groups fanfics dont seem as popular as ingroup fanfics imho
college or working life doesn't matter. i'm sure people who are interested to read your fanfics would enjoy it eitherway. but if you want it to relate to your real life style, then do what is more similar to it.
readers here usually choose to read ones that contain their bias but i would say you should give a different member a shot.

in all honesty, whichever you think fits more would make it easier for you to write this fanfic.

Hmm, well, for the first one, I think that choosing characters that you think fit best for whatever roles would robs be the best thing to do for. So, whether that is choosing different idols from different groups, or focusing on one, really falls down to you. The other two underneath say it's best to just focus on one group or two groups, and they do bring up a good point with that, but honestly, I don't really see the problem with mixing around and say, using one person from this group or three from another since I do so myself. But, again, whatever you feel is best or right.

College or Working Life...I think either one would be okay I guess.

As for the third point, I'm sure there are peeps out there willing to read even if it's not their bias. Like, as for myself, it doesn't matter whether my bias or favorites are the main characters in a story, as long as I'm like, familiar enough with which ever group and members there are and the story and find it interesting/like it a lot, I'd read it.

Most readers prefer to read only one or two groups that they stan, and mixing them up in one story is not a good choice. Decide only one certain group & use the members as the characters.

Both are okay.

In my opinion, nope. I will only read stories with my bias as the lead.
