Haneul is the kind of person that usually behaves one way or another depending on how close or how well she knows someone. Out of politeness she's friendly and would talk to someone to just break the ice even though to her it may seem out of place and awkward. This leads to Haneul being easy-going as she would rather be relax and calm instead of uncomfortable and hostile in the environment. Luckily Haneul is able to adapt in her surrounding without totally feeling like an oddball, although she doesn't mind being a wallflower at times as well. Haneul also has a great deal of having empathy for someone or something and tries to perceive many things from different perspective and not be closed-minded often. Haneul can be a playful person if she has created a bond with them where their relationship can be at that level. Sometimes it takes a while only because she doesn't trust so easily and usually treads the water before diving in completely, but that doesn't stop her from being nice and polite though. Sometimes it just depends on the situation and Haneul wants to assess it.
Even if Haneul can remind herself all of the positive things in life, she knows that the negativity has to come and go as well. Haneul can be impulsive and say and do things that may make her regret it afterwards and may also seem insensitive and like a jerk, too. This can make her become stubborn if she's a firm believer of something or doesn't want change as Haneul has been comfortable with how things have been. It could also mean the changes of doing one thing one way and now having to do it another way. Sometimes it would make her clumsy, not because Haneul has two left feet or is accidental prone per se, but it's because she's unfamiliar and unskilled with it all. Which leads to Haneul being absentminded at times as she either forgets and gets lost in the focus or is mentally tired and wants something to distract herself from it all. Somehow stuff life this can make Haneul passive-aggressive without her realizing it. Even if she's frustrated or angry, she'll keep her composure in a calm-like way, but her voice and words will betray her as they'll come out differently than what she has initially wanted it to and may sound different to the receiver.
Anyways, it's how Haneul is realistic. Sure she's quite imaginative and open-minded, but she reminds herself that there are times when she has to think of real life and those around her. It's why Haneul's reserve with people and likes to see and know how they are before becoming closer. Haneul dislikes it when people judge others as many people have misjudged her lots of time, but than again Haneul knows it's only human nature to do so. So Haneul has to remind herself to not be so biased and try to be fair and see the gray within the black and white. Life is never that easy and Haneul knows that for sure although the struggles are never that easy to deal with, but that what makes life refreshing and the rewards favorable. Anyways, Haneul prefers to compromise instead of choosing or doing one over the other, unless it's sports, work-related, or something easy since most things in life can be judge fairly without complicating the matters further.
All in all, Haneul usually says that she's the best example of the saying, 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Haneul knows that people will already think of her one way or another not because they know her, but because they know of her or of how she portrays herself. Haneul won't go out of her way to change someone's mind of what they think of her, but she will give them the opportunity to get to know her better if they wish, and to find out what kind of bond to form with Haneul as well. So like before, Haneul will act and behave one way or another depending on the level of trust, one on one connection, different forms of bonding, and the personal closeness she feels with someone on those many levels. For Haneul, once you step into her life and want to be a part of it, she's forever got your back and will be there for you to her best ability. She doesn't forget those who have done her good or wrong, and pays it back ten fold except the evil part. Those who done her wrong, Haneul lets karma get back at them for that.

Biography:
Haneul grew up in a nice home, but her parents weren't around much due to their busy schedule of work and so she hung out with her brothers more often than she ever did with her parents. The only time she ever did see them while growing up were during holidays, weekends, the teacher-parent meetings, school events, breakfast, and dinner. There wasn't anything malicious or neglectful on their part, it was just, how it was. Haneul's parents provided her and her brothers with a home, food, clothes, and other things that children needed to live their life while under their parents' guidance and what not.
Anyways, because of the lack of parental guidance Haneul saw her big brothers as more of a parental figure despite their age difference of six and seven years. At first her brothers thought she was a brat and it was kind of annoying having her around and such, but eventually they grew accustomed with her being around them. Haneul followed them around like a duckling and wanted to do what they did and what not. It's how she got into traditional Korean instruments because her brothers played them. Although the brothers gave up on them as they weren't as interested in it a year or so later, but Haneul enjoyed it and wanted to continue playing it. Anyways, despite their age and growing up and having other interest, the trio made time for one another whenever they got the chance to.
Soon enough Haneul found singing to be super exhilarating and developed a love for it that she sang any chance she got or to annoy her brothers to come hang out and play with her. Of course it always worked since it would mean she would shut up aand they could have some peace and quiet although they didn't mind her singing. Anyways, Haneul expressed her interest in joining the entertainment world one day when she was fourteen and her brothers were all for it and supportive, but their parents were hesitant. They were okay with Haneul singing and playing the gayageum for the fun of it, but to actually pursue a career in that field didn't seem ideal. Still though, Haneul's parents told her to go for it if she wanted to and her brothers helped her to achieve it.
So for three years, Haneul sent in auditioned clips to JYP Entertainment with her brothers recording her and even dressing her up, but she didn't get accepted. Haneul became discouraged and maybe that she didn't have it in her for her to be a singer or whatever, but her brothers told her not to give up. They told her she would eventually get accepted and maybe that JYP Entertainment wasn't just for her. So they helped her searched for other entertainments out there and maybe one that wasn't big or well-known and searched something more down the chain. That's when the trio came upon Starship Entertainment and sent in Haneul's audition clip. She was contacted a week later and was told to come in for a live audition. After that she was accepted and joined Starship Entertainment some time in early 2010.
