appearance.  Hayley is 159cm tall and and weighs 49kg. Her natural hair colour is black but she likes to dye her hair mainly dark colours like dark browns or dark purple. But when she's feeling adventurous she might dye her hair towards a certain theme like galaxy or ocean theme. She also has a tatoo of the tomorrowland symbol on the back of her right left shoulder. Most people wouldn't know that it's there unless she wears a tank top. She got it just after her first time at the tomorrowland music festival in Belgium.

fashion style.  Hayley's style consist of summery festival outfits. But during the colder season such as late autumn, winter and early spring her style is more casual and simple. During the summer she loves wearing flower crowns. But with every outfit she always has the same bracelet on her right hand. Which is a Tomorrowland bracelet she got the first time going to the music festival and she has never taken it off.

Hayley is a fun loving person, the type of person that would go all out when trying to let loose. After hiding true herself for most of her life to please her parents she realised that she has wasted a lot of time being someone else not the person who she really is. She is the person who would take people on crazy adventures and help others to find who they really are. The energy and atmosphere that she felt while travelling the world with her friends at the different music festivals is something that she wants to recreate so others are able to experience. Another thing that she is good at is keeping people together; it's could either be her friends or her bandmates she would make it so everyone feels connected. She does this in the group be getting the quieter memebers a chance to speak and by protecting her bandmates. But with that type of energy that she has, she could sometimes come off as being careless or even reckless. She falls over all the time especially while on stage this is due to the energy that she's getting from the audience making her not really mindful of where she takes her next step. Her upbeat and energetic nature can be also be a bad thing usually when the rest of her band members want some peace and quiet Hayley would be considered loud and annoying during these times. On the outside she might seem like she doesn't give a about anything and with some stuff she might not. But with the stuff that she really cares about, like her worries and fears she unintentiionally keeps it inside becasue she's scared that if it started to reflect her outer appearance as well as inside her then she might explode.

Hayley Choi was born on the 21st of June,1996 in London, England. She is the third child in the family; with two older sister and and young brother. It was hailing outside during the time her mother was in labour to the time when she was born. That was how her parents name her since the name Hayley sounded close to hail. But as she grew up she came to love the summer more which is the total opposite to the environment that she was born in. Since her two older sisters turned out to be sucessful with their studies and later their careers a lot of pressure was put on Hayley to follow in their foot steps. It got to a point during her the middle of her high school years that she felt like the life that she was living wasn't her's.That she was living in the shadows of her older siblings and the high expectations of her parents weighing her down. Around the time of this realisation she was stressing out and her grades started to drop. Theat stressed her out even more and her parents would start to tell her off saying how disappointed they were with her current grades. The only time she would get to time to herself and not having the expectation push down on her so much is at night when everyone is asleep. That is the time when she can let her tear flow freely down her face without any of the judging eyes of her family and the only thing that comforts her is the music that she plays through her phone which takes her to another place for a while.

But one day, she said to herself 'This is my life' not anyone elses. So she changed her way of thinking. She would stopped thinking about the top position of the class and would try her hardest with the best of her abilities. She also started working part time at a popular trendy clothing store which is where she met one of her best friends Amy Robinson, Scarlett Anderson and a bit later Nathan Williams. All four of them don't really know what they want to do with their lives and that is how they all connected and would always go on crazy adventures together. Since they were all interested in EDM music and the music festival life; they all planned that after graduating they would all travel the globe together until they figure out what they want to do for the rest of their life career wise. When one of them finds their own path and decides to follow it then the other three would understand and would continue travelling until each of them has found what they want to do. After agreeing to that plan Hayley tried her best with her studies to finish high school and worked hard at her part time job so she could travel the world. Six month before gradutating she confronted her parents and told them what her plans were for the future. Which ended up with her and her mother is a really heated arguement and her father defending Hayley. after the arguement she asked her father why he defended her. He explained to her that the expectations that both her mother and father put on her was unfair and that it took a while for him to finally see how it was really affecting her. All the time that she thought everyone was asleep while she cried her eyes out at night; her father heard them all and it broke his heart into so many pieces. When she told them what she wanted to do with her life her father was proud because his daughter has finally got her own goals for life not one that was placed for her.

A week after graduating high school she and her mother weren't on good terms but her father told her to follow the path that is before her. She was packed and said goodbye to her parents. Her siblings think that she's crazy for doing this abut her older sister understand why she's doing what she is about to do. After her oldest sister hugged her really tight and told her sto stay safe. When her friends car arrived to the front of her house she took one last look at the house she grew up in and said her final goodbyes before heading to the car with her friends. She was excited and scared at the same time. Nathan had tickets to the major music festivals for the year and passed then around to. When Hayley got her's the adventure that they were about to go on felt more real. For the whole years they all travelled the globe, it was like they were chasing music festivals together. Their first stop was in Belgium where they headed to for Tomorrowland and being there Hayley didn't feel like the a girl with no directtion. Being in the crowd all four of them felt like they were part of something way bigger. From there they went from travelling all of Europe to the US then travelling Asia. After the first going to all the music festivals with the tickets that they had Amy was the first one to break off from the group since she found a pretty good job working for Marvel Studios in America. The three of them said their goodbyes to Amy as she walked in the differnt direction towards another plane heading to USA while the rest of them headed on another plane to their next adventure.

While spending time in Korea for the second time Hayley auditioned for Starship Enterainment because she felt a sudden feeling that it was something she should do to get her life moving. She told her friends after the audition that after Ultra Music Festival Korea; which was in a few days she would stay back in Seoul because this city had something that she might be looking for. Nathan and Scarlett said that they would be fine and were every understanding when Hayley told them. Hayley felt kinda bad for leaving them after all the adventures they've had together but they continued to tell her that it's ok and they since they just started dating they would always have each other. And like that Hayley enjoyed her last soul searching adventure with her friends at Ultra Music Fest. After that they all said their goodbyes and Hayley watched as the plane took off towards the next adventure without her. After settling down in Korea, Hayley did more auditions for other enterainment companies while practicing her singing and brushing up on her Korean. After a while Starship Entertainment called her to say that they have accepted her as a trainee which sent her jumping up and down as she contacted her family and friends.

Other Trivia
–One of the kpop idols that she looks up to when she started living in Korea is Chanyeol from EXO. Not because of his rapping but because of how musically talented he is and because of the music he produces.
–Her favourite song of all time is "All I ever Wanted" by Michael Brun. It's a very important song to her because it's the song made her realise that her life has purpose.
–Since she's tied down in Korean as a trainee she isn't really able to go to any music festivals. But she makes sure that every years she attends Ultra Music Festival Korea. Either with her group members or with her friends that she travelled the globe with.
–she crys everytime she watches the music video "Shelter" by Porter Robinson. It doesn't matter how many times she's seen it. That music video will always make her cry.
–Hayley also djs and produces music. Whenever she does it brings back memories of her travelling around the world with friend going to different music festivals all over the globe.

She's closer to Scarlett since they both are in the film business. But Hayley and her could talk for hours on the phone or on Facetime.

– Music Festival Chaser Friend :: Scarlett Anderson (22) / Aspiring Actress / funny, weird (in a good way), independant, adventureous / She would try to make time to visit Hayley in Korea Since Hayley is the furtherest from everyone else. They both would catch up and would always seek adventure when with Hayley. She's like the big sister since she is the oldest out of the three girls.

– Music Festival Chaser Friend :: Nathan Williams (23) / Game Designer / chilled/layed back with work and studies, parties hard, loyal, protective of the whole group / He woulds sometime visit Hayley in Korea with Scarlett but it wouldn't be as often since he has deadlines for a gaming designer. He and Scarlett has a really good relationship even though it's kinda long distance.

While training at Starship Entertainment, Hayley didn't really have that much previous training. She had dance lessons until she got to high school but that was pretty much it for professional training. But her experiences at the many music festivals gave her a uniqueness to her style of dance and voice which caught the eyes of the teachers and trainers at Starship. From there her style was nurtured and she continued to grow as a trainee. Another thing that Hayley did while training under Starship was DJ and produce her own music. At first she was just messing around with different sounds and song. But the staff noticed and told her that she should keep it up. Most of the time she DJs because it brings back all the fun and crazy memories of her and her friends travelling together.   

   Just a few questions

What does the word 'Coalesce' mean to you? To me Coalesce means coming together and sharing our differences to create something amazing.

What makes you different compared to the other 6 girls? Even though I don't have much professional experience in the entertainment industry. I've been to many different music festivals, so using my experience from these events I am able to read the audience's reactions to what goes on onstage.

How do you feel about Coalese being a one year group? Let me first say that a year flys by quickly. Being in a group like Coalese, I know I am going to bound with all the members so to disband after a year might be hard for me. But on the other side, since it's going to be a one year group I would be able to experience what a girl group would be like. Like a trial run of the real thing.

With Coalese being a multi-race group in the korean music industry, do you think you have thick enough skin to deal with the critism you will recieve? Like everything in the world. People would either love it or hate it. Coalese would be no different. I kinda expect a bit of critism. That way we as a group can improve to deliver to our fans.

This goes along with the ious question, Is there anything you are not looking forward to while being in this project group? To be honest I'm really not looking forward to all the drama either created by the other members or the media.

And lastly, do you have any goals you want to achieve with the group or is there anything you want to achieve on your own? My goals is for us as a group to make music that people would love to jam to anywhere at anytime. Another one of my goals is to see our fans having as much fun as we are and lastly I'm hoping that this experience would help me grow as a person.
