Yeonjoo was fun, easy-going and loves to fool around. You can say she's dorky, she could make anything fun or make jokes out of anything. She is the believer of 'rules are made to be broken' thing. She chooses which rules make sense for her and which one is not, if some rules don't mke sense for her, she would complain those rules. Yeonjoo is friendly to a lot of people and has a broad-knowledge about things. If you ask any question, she would quickly answer it because she knows the right answer. Yeonjoo loves fooling around, but not pranking. She just loves throwing jokes and her punch lines. Sometimes she would laughs at her own imagination so you could say she's a 4D. Her imagination is beyond anyone's imagination. Yeonjoo also a hard-working person because she will never give up on anything. Her hard-working will shows the first time you meet her, she even won't give up on math problems which she actually hates till death. She's very honest and loyal except if someone betrays her, she won't trust that person anymore.Although she is quite friendly, she loves her own me-time. She likes to spend her time alone during gloomy weather or rainy weather. Reading books and writing are her hobbies that you can't imagine. People who just know her won't believe is you tell them she loves to read especially reading english literature books and others. She does look like someone with empty-head because of her playful traits but actually she's very intellegent. Sometimes she's moody so you also should becareful with her.

Her hard-working traits creates a negative trait for her which perfectionist. She won't stop until she thinks it's perfect, that's how she got her OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). You won't find any mess or dust in her room. This is another hidden trait of her, people who just know her would think she's your typical messy-funny-witty person which she's not. She's very serious when it comes to working and practicing but after the training sessions ended she would play around again. Her seriousness in practicing also makes her become strict. People would thought she has two different personalities because of this too. Sometimes she would be sarcastic when she hears people asking some retorical questions especially when she's in her mood-swings. Her sarcasm is beyond your level of sarcasm, the first sentence that would came out from is 'what the hell'. Her honesty also could brings out her sarcasm, for example someone asks her 'what do you think about this dress?', if she think it doesn't that person she would answer 'Well if you're asking for diplomatic answer it would be yes but honestly, no. That's , I mean, you're with that dress'. Her brother said that she was born from a miax of 'savage-ness' and 'dorky-ness'. People who see her wouldn't sense her dorky-ness at all because hr resting face could be quite y at times. She's not afraid to speak out her minds, she's not your type of punch-bag. She is someone that will hit you back if she thinks you need a punch, two punches or some punches. That's why at times she could be seen as a shameless person because of her blunt-ness and braveness in saying her mind. She has a boxing sacks that was brought by her brother so when she's angry, she will hit the sack instead of people.

Yeonjoo was born in Busan on January 18, 1995 as Song Yeonjoo. She is the youngest of four and the only daughter in her family. Her father is a architecture major professor at Pusan National University who moved to Yonsei University. His father's name is Song Wonjoo. Meanwhile her mother is a housewife who used to be a music teacher at Kyungnam High School who stopped teached after gave birth to the third son. Her name is Moon Eunjin. Yeonjoo's oldest brother is 8 years older than her, he's currently a prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. His name is Song Youngjae. Her second older brother is 5 years older than her and currently a first year resident at department of neurosurgery at Seoul National University Hospital. His name is Song Youngjoon. Meanwhie her third older brother is 3 years older than her, he is an interior designer at a famous interior design biro HBO+EMT. His name is Song Youngjoo.

Yeonjoo attended Shinjae Elementary School and then she attended Jaesong Girls' Middle School. Since she's a kid, she's always been interested in music. Her mom always sings her a lullaby before sleep, she also taught Yeonjoo how to play piano. Maybe because her mom was a music teacher, her musical ability was passed down to Yeonjoo. She grew with her brothers and always bickers with them. They would bicker non-stop and even insulting at each other. Her mom teaches her piano since she was 5 years old, she loves piano since then. She would spend her time for hours in the piano after school or during the weekends.

Youngjae moved to Seoul when she was 10 years old because he was accepted to Seoul National University, Political Science. Then Youngjoon also moved to Seoul when she was 13 because he was accepted to SNU Medicine School. The family finally moved together to Seoul after Youngjoo was accepted to Seoul Institue of the Arts, Department of Interior Design when Yeonjoo was 15 years old. She moved after she finished her junior high school, they family finally live together again. At the time, her oldest brother was already entered SNU Law School for his master degree meanwhile Youngjoon was already in his 2nd year of medicine school. Her father also got a job offer from Yonsei University so they started to live in Hannam-dong since then.

Yeonjoo attended Hyundai Senior High School. Since she moved to Seoul, her interest in music grew bigger. She's a big fan of BoA but music is just an escape for her, she became a big fan of Miss A since she saw their debut stage. Music is a hobby for her, being a hardcore fan is like a 'work' for her. Her brothers would and she would pay them back by insulting them. Her Busan accent was really strong to the point some of her new friends in Seoul didn't understand what she said. Yeonjoo can adapt well with the environment and eventually succeded the Seoul accent in her second year in Seoul. During her high school year, Yeonjoo participated in various school activites including singing for the school's festival annually. She graduated from high school in 2012, she attended KAIST, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular.

Her best friend, Jang Hana, pushed her to go for a weekly audition at JYP Entertainment. Yeonjoo kept saying that she's not really interested in becoming a singer as her dream was to be a chemical engineer. Hana didn't give up because she really see the talent in Yeonjoo (she said that), so with Hana's persistentcy Yeonjoo went to JYP Weekly Audition on summer 2015. Yeonjoo passed the audition in one try and later she found out that Hana's father is one of the director at JYP Entertainment. He said he saw Yeonjoo performed during one of the high school's festival and since then wanted to scout her, knew that his daughter is her best friend so he asked Hana to get Yeonjoo to the audition. After 4 years od trying, Hana succeded and Yeonjoo ended up became a trainee in summer 2015 with her parents' permission.

Her father is really liberal and let his children to do anything that they wants. Since he's an art person, he's open minded and let his children to do anything or pursue anything. People would say by seeing how Yeonjoo's brothers choose their career, they thought their parents are strict which is absolutely wrong. His father loves spending time at home and drawing, he also would make fun of Yeonjoo in joking manner because she can't draw at all. Still can't understand how Yeonjoo got into training at JYP while still be able to balanced her college life.

Her mom is a music lover and eventually passed down her interst in music to Yeonjoo. She's a very loving mom who support anything that her children want to do. Sometimes would complain at how lazy Youngjae is, how dirty Youngjoon is, how noisy Youngjoo is, and how harsh Yeonjoo's words are. A great and loving housewife, wife, and mother. Teaches her chidrens musical instrumental.

Although Youngjae is 8 years older than her, Yeonjoo is close with him. Youngjae felt like he 'raised' Yeonjoo because he would carry up her aroung the neighborhood when she was 2 years old while taking Youngjoon and Youngjoo for a walk to a nearby store to buy ice cream after school. He is very blunt and serious during trials but actually a lazy and funny one. Yeonjoo never understand how the hell he got accepted to SNU that has a competitive admission. He places 1st during his high school and got into the top 0.5% CSAT results. Youngjae would tease Yeonjoo and he calls her Songi because it sounds cute for him although he knows Yeonjoo isn't your average well-behaved sister. Yeonjoo called him 'Judge Song' or Song-pansanim (송 판사님).

Yeonjoo and Youngjoon would argue till dead. Youngjoon called her Wangseja because she won't stop bullying him. Youngjoon is very witty and playful towards her, he love to make a jokes and pull a trick on her. Youngjoon is very clumsy, Yeonjoo doesn't get it how he placed 1st in Busat CSAT and accepted to medicine school. Yeonjoo would start cursing at him because he just can't stay still at once. Can't do normal duty such as washing clothes and dishes. Although they bickers a lot, Yeonjoo loves talking with Youngjoon. He calls her wangseja and she calls him psychopath or jeongshinbyeongja (정신병자) because he can't stop pull a trick or prank at her, he won't take off his clothes or give any clothes to wash even after weeks, and he can't even remember where he puts his things.

Yeonjoo and Youngjoo are close, maybe also one of the reason is because they have a similar name. Youngjoo is your average bright soccer player, he was known for his soccer skills. Yeonjoo has never seen him study, not even once but he managed to graduated as a valedictorian with little time to study. Whenever he pick up her from school, her friends would thought that he is her boyfriend. He called her Michinyeon because her words aren't filtered, she would call him 'Song-sanggung' (송상궁) because he's bettr at cooking, sewing, and drawing than her. Since his age is the closetest to her than her other brothers, he's the one who spent time the most with her so they know each other like the back of their own hands. They would freely insult at each other and people would mistaken them from being twins.

Hana is Yeonjoo's best friend since she first arrivd at Seoul. Hana is a bright and active girl, she is an ice-breaker and also mood-booster for her. Hana's father is one of the JYP director but unlike her father, hana doesn't interested in going to the entertainment industry. He would choose on becoming a chemical engineer because she loves science that much. Hana father asked her to persuade Yeonjoo to come to the JYP weekly audition and hana has been trying for 4 years before finally succeeded. Hana is the only child in her family and her mother passed away when she was a kid because of cancer, that's why she's close with Yeonjoo's family. They would bicker like sisters but love each other and also care for each ther. Hana would impersonate Yeonjoo's dialect at times, making the latter annoyed and insult at her using her accent. Although she's not a trainee, she got the access to JYP and somehow caught up in some-ing relationship with Got7's JB.

Yeonjoo entered the company later than the other trainees, trainees who are the same age as her have been a trainee for 4 or 5 years then. She entered the company and focused on vocal lesson and dancing lesson. After a few months, she also started being trained in acting and MCing. Yeonjoo has a natural talent in vocal, a lot of trainer acknowledge that. The trainees are really competitive so Yeonjoo gives her all on the training, she wants to be someone that's not just success in career but also in education. Her perfectionist trait helps her a lot during training time. She would be the earliest who come to the training lesson and the latest who'll leave the room. Yeonjoo is a hard-working trainee who tries her best to show that she is really worth being scouted at such a late age.

Yeonjoo also has quite a chubby-like cheeks, although she is quite thin, her cheek is still chubby. She also has a bang, she rarely put her bang to the side. Her skin is light and her proportion is not bad, She has been exercising lately so she has some muscles.
