Personality Dohyun is an optimistic boy despite things happening to hime like the bullying when he was new to the company. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was younger so he has really hard time coping with practices which made him look bad and lazy. He tends to either shut down when pressured or be detached when he can't cope with certain scenarios. He only has two moods, obsessive or passive. He easily loses focus in important things which makes him look uncaring and careless. In his defense, if he finds something he really likes, he won't stop till he achieves it. He wants to help in every way but because of the nature of his ADHD, he starts things that he don't finish which projects laziness despite his willingness to help. He's a clingy person especially if he's likes you.

 

Background The Yoon twins were born in Seoul. The older twin, a boy, was born 3 minutes before midnight of September 11, 1995 and the other twin was born 5 minutes after which was a girl and celebrates her birthday the day after her brother's. His mother is a costume designer for stage plays where he got his love for fashion from while his father is lawyer. At a young age, he became fond of the group, Shinhwa which became his inspiration to become an idol someday. he started joining talent shows with his sister where he'll sing and dance while his sister raps. They were scouted and offered to become trainees under known companies but they had to decline as they were still young and their parents weren't comfortable with it.

 

When they were in their teens, they continued performing and eventually was consented to train under the companies of their liking. Dohyun trained under Jellyfish Entertainment with the recommendation of his friend, Sanghyuk.

Trainee years 5 year and 6 months

Trainee life He trained under Jellyfish Entertainment around 2013 just after VIXX's debut. He was a fan of the group which made him decide to train under the company and he was also Hyuk's childhood friend. He at first was bullied as he was a pushover first as he is new to the company but after a few months and as newer trainees came, he wasn't bullied that much and was able to train peacefully and after 3 years, his sister joined the company and they became partners in crime.

What was your reason for joining produce 101? I simply want to fulfill my childhood dream to become an idol.

What was your main focus when training? vocal? dance? rap? I think I'm not that bad of a singer but I want to be known for my dancing.

What class are you expecting to enter in the first episode? I aim to be on at least C.

What do you think your final rank will be? I think rank 11 is not bad.

Do you think you'll be able to make it to the final group? if so, why? mmm.. I still need to grow so I doubt that I'll make it now but I know I'll be in the top 11 if I'm given a chance to continue until Top 20/22.

 

What do you think sets you apart from the other trainees on the show? I think I have a reverse charm and I'm good in doing variety.
