▸ Tyler is 170cm which is tall for most people but in the kpop industry his height is considered average among the other idol. When he smile it makes his baby face shine.

STYLE :

▸ Tyler's type of style is that he would normally dress smart casual. His best combination is a nice button up shirt, with a nice blaser and a pair of dark colour jeans. When people look at how he dresses it seems that Tyler gives of a sense of vintage style. But he can also go causal eg. a simple v neck top, black jeans, sneakers and either a bomber jacket or leather jacket.

PERSONALITY :　Tyler is the type of person that is like the brother that always treats their siblings. Whether the members wanna go out to eat, buying snacks or wanna go places; tyler would make it happen. The leader and manager would scold him for always spoiling the members so he would tone it down a bit for a while. He is also the type of person that would volunteer to do something if no one else want to do it. Most of the time you would see him doing the dishes since no one else wants to do it. But morer recently the leader would help him. He really looks after his memebers and sees them like the siblings he's never had. He loves meeting new people and most of the time start the converstion. Growing up he read a lot of comic books. His favourite hero was Captin America and Thor. He looked up to the two but mainly Captain America due to sense of barvery and honor the character has. When he was younger he wanted to be just like him; I guess that some of that made its way into his own personality.

He would play the cello in his free time and it's like he gets lost in another world when he's playing the cello or composing music. When this happens it's takes a lot to pull him out and back to reality. This also happens when he's listening to jazz music. He can also be forgetful especially when he goes to buy groceries he would always forget something. So everyone ends up writing downs what they need from the supermarket and give the list to him. He remembers when schedules are but would forget when dance practices are.

BACKGROUND :　Tyler Pham was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on the 18th of Janurary in 1995. His parents were pretty well off so Tyler grew up comfortably. They lived next door to an elderly couple who were later known as the Harrison couple. In his younger years he use to go over to their house to keep them company and play with their granddaughter Monica; his family was always welcome. But as he grew up his parents would always fight, so he would stay over at Harrison's place more often. The elderly couple would play old vinyl records of jazz/swing music ranging between the 1920s to the 1960s which Tyler grew to love. When he turned 13 years old his parents got divorced and his dad got custody over him. From middle school through to high school he would hang around with Monica as friends. During 8th grade he Monica enrolled to an after school academy where he learnt to play the cello while Monica learnt how to act.

In senior year of high school while he was exploring New York City University he met with Scott Bradlee and his group of friends. Scott pitched the idea that he was starting a group that takes current pop songs and gives them a jazz spin. Tyler thought it was an awesome idea and asked to join Scott and his friends welcomed him and he really enjoyed it. He ended up doing an Art's course in Uni majoring in classical jazz music. Near the end of the second years he wanted to explore more genre of music and found that kpop was rich in styles of music so he decided to quit uni and told his dad that he wanted to try out in the kpop which his dad supported him. So he flew to Korea and lived with his aunt in Seoul. He tried to audition of JYP but was rejected then auditioned for Dark Horse Entertainment which he got through.

TRAINEE LIFE :　Being trained in jazz and swing music before arriving back in Korea made him noticed by the trainers that trained the trainees. When practising his vocals a unique style shines through his singing which he was praised for. However he found that he was falling behind the other trainees when in dance practice which is why he spent most of his nights practising until he caught up with the other trainees. While training as a trainee and watching how kpop has grown. Tyler thought that bringing back jazz to mainstream would give him a sense of originality and uniqueness. So he would not only compose music that would suit the mainstream media but he would find a way to add the jazz/swing backgound that he grew up with.

PREDEBUT ACTIVITES :　He ang and played the cello for a lot of Postmoderen Jukebox's videos back in New York while studying at University. Postmodern Jukebox is popular group that takes recent pop music and gives a vintage jazz/swing spin.

LOVE STORY :

▸ Tyler Pham and Park Bo Gum met on a magical night out(A/N: I'm joking. Here is how they really met) As a trainee Tyler , along with a few other trainees was chosen to go and help out on a set where another group was filming their music video. They were told that this would be a good chance to experience what it's like when filming a music video. Park Bo gum was the actor chosen for the storyline of the music video so he was currently acting on set. During break, like normally he would check if the staff were alright since it's how he is. Tyler offered Bo Gum a bottle of water and they both sat down on a box while watching the group dance as the cameras were rolling. Tyler started the conversation and they both talked for a while. To be honest Tyler didn't know how famous Park Bo Gum is. Later the director yelled "And that's a wrap" so everyone would know that filming was finish. Tyler was told to go help pack up and that was where Bo Gum and Tyler had to say good bye.

The second time thatthey met was after Bo Gum finished shooting a commercial at Lotte Land and was just wondering around. Tyler was also at Lotte Land with two of his group memebers but got ditched. As he walked around looking for his memebers he bumped into Bo Gum. The two decided to hang out exploreing Lotte Land together while talking and bonding together.

After that they would hang out when they were free and the public saw the friendship that they shared. But underneath Bo Gum was falling for Tyler and wants to become more than friends. It was kinda the same with Tyler but Tyler is afraid to take that next step because he thinks that the feelings is only one sided and and also thinks that Bo Gum deserves someone better.
