flowergirl's 3900 SUBSCRIBER GIVEAWAY!

So a few months ago I got the unfortunate news that I couldn’t go to EXO’RDIUM in Los Angeles so I ended up selling my presale code to another EXO-L. She got the seats she wanted and had a great time at the concert! This money has been sitting in my account and I used some of it to buy myself some cute EXO goodies but then I decided to use the rest to buy more goodies for a giveaway! There isn’t a better way to spend money from a fellow EXO-L than spending it on EXO goods for other EXO-L’s!

 

The giveaway is also to thank all my wonderful readers for all the love and support you have given my fics. 3,900 is a really weird number to hold a giveaway for but I also hit 2,000 subscribers for Good Graces which I think is a milestone too! Really I never thought anything that I wrote would receive this much love and attention but you guys shower me with so many praises that I definitely am not deserving of yet. For giving me the motivation and passion to continue writing and for adoring kaisoo and chanbaek from the bottom of your hearts, I have two sets of prizes to give away! At this point it seems like I’ll only be able to afford domestic shipping in the US but please international readers feel free to join and if I can scrape up some more money by the time the giveaway ends I’ll just add you guys to the random draw!

Entering the giveaway is simple! All you have to do is leave a comment below about one of the most memorable scenes or characters from one of my fics and a reason why (it doesn’t have to be long, even a simple sentence would be fine but if you want to write a full blown five paragraph essay that’s okay with me too lol, the length of your response won’t affect your chances of getting into the random draw as long as it answers the question adequately).

 

For multiple entries, you can talk about a favorite scene/character from each of my fics. For example, if you have read By the Light of the Moon and Good Graces and leave an answer for each of them you get two entries into the random draw! A maximum of three entries will be recorded if you leave an answer for By the Light of the Moon, Good Graces, and The Long Way Home! Please message me if you have any questions about this!

 

 In addition, just let me know if you’re from the US or abroad so I can sort you guys into two separate lists. Also please be comfortable with sharing an address with me so I can ship the prize to you if you win. All information will be kept entirely confidential and I will use it for no other reason. I will also be checking to see if you’re subscribed to any of my fics just to make sure that I’m really thanking my wonderful readers!

 

The giveaway starts today and will stay open until I finish Good Graces. Depending on when my goods are shipped to me too (I’m expecting late fall; I know it’s a long time from now (>.<) ) I might extend the deadline too. Winners will be chosen through a random draw and notified through a private message on AFF; or if you prefer being contacted through twitter or tumblr feel free to leave your username. Winners will have a week to claim their prizes before I randomly choose someone else!

My favorite scene from Meet Me Halfway was when they both ended up at Soo's old apartment. It made me choke up that they ended up together, even if it was just for a little bit. It gave me some hope that they would get their happily ever after somehow. Made me think of the saying "the shortest distance between two points is a straight line". For them, the place where they shared so much of their memories was the straight line, if that makes sense.

My favorite scene from your fanfic came from Good Graces. It was that moment when Kyungsoo finally opened up his mind to Jongin, and surprised him with those sweet words when they were alone. It was a meaningful scene, and even though I did like a lot of scenes from Good Graces, this one stood up to me.

Hiya! My comment here would be confusing stuff a bit because I'm not here to enter the giveaway (let the others have a tad bit higher chance of winning lol) but wanna comment on my favourite scene all the same.

By the Light of the Moon is one of my favourite fic ever (love memoirs of a geisha to bits) and my favourite scene from it is when Kris sent Kyungsoo away during the war. To me, it is like, those two actually did develop feelings for each other despite it starting as a business sort of relationship. Kyungsoo was precious enough to Kris for him to send him somewhere safe, in the hands of strangers. Kris was such a rock to Kyungsoo that without him, Kyungsoo kinda lost an anchor and his life became really uncertain.

It has been years since I finished that fic for the 726373 time but I still tear up at that bit.

I came again from the baekyeol fic and for a while i was confused bcs im so sure ive read this before. Turns out youre also the writer of good graces lol im such a fail for not recognizing your username.
Anyway my favorite scene that still lingering even until i read the last chapter is that scene when baekhyun crying near jongin's grave. I was crying too. The way you worded his pain was brilliant and I can feel it crunching my heart. It went more painful to the end when i found out how jongin was dead.
Anyway that fic is totally brilliant. I should check out your stories now.

This may sound a bit weird but the most memorable scene in Good Graces for me is the one wherein Kyungsoo was going through his change in the middle of the forest and was experiencing these very painful cramps in his stomach and Jongin helped him get through it by massaging his stomach or his abdomen and his well, from behind, and they were lying so close to each other and Jongin was touching him all around (kay, that's a bit exaggerated) and it was just so... intimate and sensual and intense. I loved it, it's probably my most favorite chapter. XD Greetings from the Philippines!

I know your main pairing in good graces is kaisoo but i cant shake baekyeol off my head bcs their story is just heartbreaking and im just hoping somehow theyll be happy.
Seems like im a er for side minor characters bcs i also cant stop thinking abt horses kaisoo left when ji was kidnapped and ks ran after him.
Anyway i want to thank you for writing and not giving up on good graces. I had a good time reading it.

I'm almost done Good Graces and it's just amazing :')
I clicked on the link and I have no clue if this ended or not but I still want to comment
I read Good Graces over a pretty long period of time so I don't remember all the details ^ ^;
But one part that I always remember is when Kyungsoo was going through the change and how jongin took care of him :')))) it was so cute and when jongin was hurt too (pretty much that period of time)

Also when the first wedding scene came up and you showed us a pic of what their attire might of looked like, I was very shocked haha
I had been imagining the entire story in a somewhat medieval setting with stone castles and slightly european attire. Then when you showed the traditional clothing and hanbok? I spent like 10 reimagining everything with a more Korean traditional setting (it didn't work lmao I just went back to the medieval)

I had just finished this story and it was so good that I dont want to end....I can't wait to read your other fanfic.
I didn't even know that you were having a giveaway, I normally don't win this things
So far my favorite part was the out break of war. Risking his life to fine jongin, getting separated from yifan, to starting a new life with nothing, then finding out that it was jongin child. Just one event after another that just kept me on my toes. I just couldn't stop reading, this was just so sad and heartfelt. Their red strings of faith kept them together in the end. Thank you so much for the story, I hope you continue writing I can't wait to read more.

Thank you so much for this story and for the giveaway. :p even if I don't normally win this kind of thing. I read Long way home. I think the whole story was amazing. The way Chanyeol's reveals to the audience and then to Baekhyun how he felt was awesome. I think my favorite part was the epilogue. It wasnt just fluff and everything was perfect. You still had the addressed the conflicts they had and Baekhyun realizing he was in love with Chanyeol. Baekhyun didn't automatically go to Chanyeol, there was a build up. The epilogue was perfect and gave the story amazing closure. It made it feel more realistic and not just some story but a series/book ending.

In The Long Way Home, what struck me is when Baekhyun hugged Chanyeol and replied "Let's try" after Chanyeol said he can leave at the end of his long and emotional confession. After 2 heartbreaks Baekhyun is still strong and willing to try loving another person and to me that speaks a lot about his whole character here. I love that beautiful scene so much I think it's engraved in my mind.

Thank you for the giveaway :) I don't think I'll win anything but I'd like to let you know my favorite part of your work which is a simple little phrase at the end of the epilogue of The Long Way Home: "They couldn’t wait to finally bring Kai home." This had me crying haha It was so sad and so beautiful at the same time I don't really find the words in English to express what I felt lol They moved on their grief and having a baby together is like the ultimate gift to Jongin’s memory. With baby Kai it's almost as if they were three again and happy. Well this is how it felt to me. Thank you again for this story I really had a great time reading it ♡

In Good Graces, I love the scene where kyungsoo and jongin are bathing together . Even though they haven't known eachother long, I can still feel their connection while I read like they've known eachother for as long as they've been alive. They love eachother so much and in that scene you can see and feel the love they have for eachother which is a love I really hope one day I will be able to have. I just thought that scene was touching and sweet and pure. Especially when they had their first kiss. It was so cute and sweet and I just loved how Jongin asked first which was very gentlemen like and so so cute

Good Graces- the scene where ksoo and nini are talking about soo's grace. The story may be fictional but the comfort in nini's words when he was telling soo that it wasn't his fault that his parents died and he wasn't the heartless murderer he thought he was is what shot my heart, it felt so real, it felt really comforting that soo has someone who really accepts him and not judging him for his grace.

I would have to say from this story as The Long Way Home has been on the top of my list. The most memorable scene would be when chanyeol came to save baekyun from his ex aka and chanyeol emotion's just burst out as he hit that guy like crazy.....that felt so raw and powerful and the way he confessed later on by bringing baek infront of jongin's grave and recalled everything from the past...it was so surreal and amazing....i cried so much at his heartfelt confession.... thank you for sharing this story. I loved this story, its plot, all the characters and the excitement and anticpation at your each update. I will honestly never forget it. Reading this lovely story was such a thrilling ride of emotional roller coaster. this will always have a special place at the section of my chanbaek heart :D

Good Graces- this is the best of all the fanfics u made tbh! I mean, they are not bad but i just love the dynamics and plot movement in this fic!! My favourite scene was basically jongin's pov the whole time bc first, i was shocked that he cant read kyungsoo's mind and second i can see his overflowing love for kyungsoo and how he's ready to love kyungsoo even if he "still likes" hyungsik :")

The Light of the Moon- my fav part here was kaisoo's secret escapades bc it was so dramatic and romantic ;-;;; i remember not sleeping bc im sooo hooked with the story!! And besides that, i adored kyungsoo taking care of kai's child as if it was his own bc that is what you call real love idjdksksjsjjsjssbbs

The Long Way Home- my fav scene is very simple :") kai's child visiting his grave and his interaction with chanyeoo :)
