But hello to all you beautiful and wonderful people out there~~ I'm extra happy today for multiple reasons (more on that later) but I'm just gonna give a quick overview of what has been happening for the past 1 1/2 or so months because Lord knows I've been hella inactive, both with updating and commenting ;c

So first things first, I did go on a music trip to Chicago back in April.
It lasted about 4 days, and we basically got to tour nearly the entire city :D

The best part about it was that I got to spend all the time with my friends!!! WITH LITTLE TO NO PARENTAL SUPERVISION!!!
It was just a nice break away from home for a little while, and I really miss the city a lot. I highly suggest visiting it whenever you get the chance too, because it really is a sight worth seeing.

And then the rest of the month was me trying to catch up with all the work I missed D: I didn't even know one could miss so much information in the span of 4 days, but apparently I DID.

Secondly, May = exams month.
Aka death month
Aka the month where I want to kms 24/7
AKA THE MONTH WHERE I'VE GONE THROUGH MORE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA THAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED ;~;

Long story short for all of you guys (so I don't bore you to death), had some fall outs, I was stressing over studying for exams and projects (specifically IOPs), and so many things with drama and heartbreaks happened all in the span of nearly a month, and it's been taking a big toll on me.
Normally I'm hella happy and bubbly, a little too perky sometimes, but this month has felt like a drag and it's been one of my darkest up to date.

I really rather not get into much detail, but just know I'm feeling soooo much better now (as well as happier).

And do you wanna guess why???

IT'S BECAUSE I PASSED ADVANCED ALL OF MY EXAMS :DDD
And basically passing advanced for any of y'all who don't know what I'm talking about, in ia we have yearly state assessments called the "SOL (Standards of Learning)" and usually almost every subject has one.
There's (usually) 60 questions, but 10 of them don't count because they're test questions (meaning they're new and such), and our score is out of 600.
400 and above means you passed, 500+ means you pass advanced. Anything below a 400 means you failed D:

Well, I passed advanced geometry and world history, but I didn't get my biology score back yet D: BUT--!! I'm sure I passed advanced at least~~~
I got a 500 on my geometry SOL, and a 532 on my world history SOL ;) I'M SO HAPPYYYYYYY~~~~
NOW I DON'T HAVE TO TAKE THE FINAL FOR EITHER CLASS!!!

But that's not the only reason why I'm happy,
I'm also hella happy because this means I can get a new phone :DDDDD
I made a deal with my mom that was if I got at least a 500 on 2/3rds of my exams, I'm allowed to get a new phone~
And then my dad said he might do something for me too, and I'm thinking about asking him if I can preorder the Seventeen albums, and speaking of which...

June is gonna be fanfictions month, while May is me trying to wrap my life together.

I have a loootttttttt of ideas for fanfictions after just letting my creative juices flow back in me, and from being in super cool group chats c:
So possibly expect a lot from me? Maybe, who knows ;)

And lastly, BTS WON THE TOP SOCIAL ARTIST AWARD AT THE BBMAs!!! OMFG I was ing c r y i n g when I saw their name spring up from that card thing asdfhkbeohn I was such a happy A.R.M.Y.

It's just so revolutionary (to me) to see K-Pop actually making its way into mainstream media, and its not that "weird Asian " anymore that a lot of my friends criticized me for liking. More and more people are genuinely recognizing that Asians aren't only good for math and becoming doctors, but they can be so much more than that. They're innovators, they're trendsetters, they're the best musicians I've come to love and admire and more; It's just amazing. Words cannot express how happy I am that this happened.

But that's basically all I have to say :D A quick update, hopefully it wasn't too boring.
