Bangtan Killed Me

Hey, good morning or good whatever-the-time-in-your-country-is-right-now. So, yeah, this is my first blog. I don't even know if someone would ever stray across the range of my blah-zone, but anyway, I've just got to release my feels. And I need to do it right now.

Okay, first off, I'm not an ARMY. This might sound weird or pretentious or whatever considering my username is Yoongi-ish, my published fics so far are all dedicated to BTS, and basically everything about this AFF account screams Bangtan (I'm pretty well-aware of that myself). But really, I'm not a fan (or at least not until now). Sure, I originally found the guys cool (damn, especially grandpa swaeg), talented (and you know I'm not exaggerating when I say super ing talented), and for some apparent reasons, attractively dorky. I listen to their tracks long before, followed a few fan pages on my personal Facebook account from time to time, even roleplayed Suga on some occassions, but I never had the gall to label myself an ARMY. I don't know, I guess it's just kind of off-putting to call myself one when I have a few friends irl who have been loyal, hardcore stans of Bangtan for a few years now. With all their merchandise, albums, and all, I think it's lame to just barge in the scene and parade my Min-smitten around. Surely, you get the gist, right?

Well, it's not like I'm new to K-Pop either though. I've been a K-Pop junkie (I was a Primadonna, ELF, KissMe, and EXO-L) since year '10, and had my heart broken several times from Kibum's Xander's, another Kibum's, Yifan's, Zitao's, and Luhan's departure. All disappointment and sadness and practically all drama that went with it, had finally taken their toll on my fangirling career (career, yes) and I grew tired of stanning K-idols (don't blame me, alright? I ing swear, none of those had been less difficult to deal with than any other else's exit)—which brings me exactly to the point why I'm writing this blog.

I've created a Twitter account last night solely for spazzing purposes, and it dawned on me that BTS members are in my ing country right now and for a week, for The Wings' Tour: 2017 BTS Like Trilogy Episode III (I'm from the Philippines). And no, I don't have any concert ticket because one, I'm deadass poor and I live in a stinking rat's hole, two, I wasn't even a ing fan during the ticket-selling period, and three, even if I got the money right off bat, tickets are all sold-out at every single Philippine ticket outlet. But still, breathing the same air as they are is a pretty good compensation.

So, yeah, going back, the point of this blog is (wait, I think I somehow got lost somewhere) that I was an ex-K-Pop fan, but now I'm back in the crazy game. It's insane voting nonstop on Billboard Music Award's Top Social Artist Award since 12 PST, but it's paying off since ARMYs are crashing servers and actually kicking Justin Bieber's down the drain (how 'bout that). And on the brightest note, it seemed like BigHit's token of appreciation was Blood, Sweat and Tears Japanese version MV teaser (and damn it, I absolutely, cannot wait for the 10th).

I'm literally screaming here like asdfgjkl, I think I've just died one sweet mothering death. I mean, can they stop doing that? I'm trying to live in utmost peace here and these boys just got no chill in ruining my life (insert ugly sobs here, and oh, I want to particularly thank Yoongi for my newfound will to live—his nose and gums). By the way, here's the link for those of you who haven't seen the bomb yet: ‪https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Bbq-XZOoSYw.‬

Anyhow, moving on, I've seen four users bookmarked my VKook one-shot (I love you, guys, so much), and Kookie's really killing me so I decided to add another chapter to Don't Say Anything as a sequel. I'm not sure though when exactly since I have major requirements due this week, and the exams period is also fast approaching (you know, uni life). But I'll upload it as soon as possible.

Well, that pretty much sums it all. Now let me shut up and fade back into my own tiny rat's hole. Until then, people.

PS: I stan PD-nim, too. The guy's the best CEO.
