Thin Lines

Hello yeorobeun~

So I had this draft on my laptop for like, 3 months? I don't really remember xD It's a moonsun story (as always), and I have the first chapter written... well half of the first chapter... I think?

And it's been like that for months and I haven't added anything to it since! I lost the plot, and everything else xD and since I don't think I'll be writing it anytime soon, or anytime at all... might as well leave it here for a while, or until I remember what it's supposed to be.

^_^ here ya go!

It started as abduction, and it turned to something else.

<><><><>

Group of men were gathered in front of a rundown building, any moment it could collapse. Gun shots after gunshots were fired, bodies kept falling from every direction with blood oozing off their casual clothes. A few more shots, a few more damage coming from the bullets that would constantly hit the building’s exterior, it would break.

Three people were inside, two men and a woman to be exact. Prying – forcing – open a locked safe that stood hidden for who knows how long containing who knows what but seemed important enough to sacrifice lives. The certain woman pressing codes in different orders only to result in a series of errors.

“ that Byul, just shoot that goddamn thing open!” one of the men shouted, totally in panic as he sees the number of unknown men enter the building. “!”

“I can’t, if I shoot the lock it would be as good as broken and could never be opened if ever! Don’t dictate me, I know what I’m doing!” the girl named Byul retaliated.

“Then hurry up, their getting in. ! We should’ve brought more men with us!”

“Then more could’ve died Sungjae!”

“Oh shut up Minhyuk! I don’t care if they die, they could’ve bought us more time that this little piece of here is wasting!” Sungjae directed his gun behind Byul and she didn’t flinch one bit. In protective reflex, Minhyuk’s gun was is now pointing at Sungjae’s head, ready to fire.

“Mind where you’re pointing that thing, Sungjae!” his teeth clenched.

Completely ignoring the fuss behind her, Byul continued pressing buttons in orders that are soon to be finished. Footsteps getting louder and can be heard already heading towards their direction, sending Sungjae and Minhyuk in panic.

“Byul, not done yet?”

“Just a little bit more, Hyuk.”

“Okay…” putting his gun down, he stay on guard by the door, followed by Sungjae who looked menacingly towards Byul’s direction.

The door was being busted and forced open. The moment it opened, gunshots were fired everywhere. Taking cover, Minhyuk fired his gun towards anyone taking a step inside the room and so did Sungjae. Byul on the other hand had her hands gripped on her own weapon ready to fire when needed while still having her focus on the safe’s lock.

One shot, one man was down on the floor. Like cat call, it called the others in, thus resulting into showers of bullets, making the room in a complete crisis.

A click was heard and the lock was opened. “It’s open!” she shouted, hearing her call, the two hurried to her direction protecting themselves from any flying and stray bullet. More men entered the room and hid themselves unto the boxes and scraps lifelessly lying around.

“Good, now let’s get out of this place!”

“The window!”

In perfect timing, the three fired a shot, a signal of distraction before jumping off the window with the contents in hand, in Minhyuk’s. Landing roughly on the ground due to the height but good enough to run and escape, the three ran without looking back, hopelessly dodging bullets being fired at them.

“That was close… good work today Byul, you too Sungjae.” Minhyul praised as all three of them catches their breaths.

“Good work? You call that good work? We barely made it out! If it wasn’t for this, huh?” pushing Byul in the head by his finger. “If it wasn’t for you and your ty ways of opening a goddamn safe, that mission could’ve been better!”

With one last push by his finger, in a snap he was pinned to the ground, groaning in pain. He was lying flat on his stomach with Byul’s knee pressing hard on his back, her hand twisting his arm, the other holding a gun that’s visibly pointed towards his head. “F-… it hurts…”

“It hurts, Sungjae?” Byul pressed further. “Then get this in your ing head, never point a gun at me, you get that?! Don’t get into my nerves you pathetic bastard, I could kill you right here right now.” She uttered sternly, cocking her gun which she threatens with Sungjae more.

“S-Stop… please…” his face red and filled with fear having death be flashed right in his very eyes.

Placing back her gun to where it originally was and getting off of Sungjae’s back who was still groaning in pain and having  the hard time standing up, she looked at Minhyuk’s direction.

“You don’t need to be that harsh at him, Byul…”

Byul snorted. “Serves him right.”
