  1. Observation of the Client

She consider herself as one of the laziest people around the class. She’s not necessarily the quiet type, she just choose not to give interest in the subject and don’t participate on recitations. Not that it doesn’t interest her, in fact, she loves knowing the human mind. It’s just that she’s generally bored easily, and couldn’t exactly focus on the subject. She’s not interested in the details and theories of how these things works. She prefer learning the subject through experience, not only inside the room. Now when she think about it, that may be the reason why her MBTI result in the class was ESTP when she actually believed she’s an ENTP. But it was only a one-point difference between her S (sensing) and N (iNtuition). She stopped caring about her grades after she lost her scholarship. All she cares about is she pass her subjects. She consider herself as an honest person and if she’s gonna be honest, one of the many reasons why she lost interest in the subject is because all of the topics were discussed by the students. And most students don’t do well in reporting discussions. Psychology is by far the most interesting subject, in her own opinion, but that is nothing if the topics were discussed poorly. There were times that some topics hooked her, though.

There were times that she feels jealous to her responsible classmates because she knows it feels good if you know something, more so—many things. But, she also knows that being too responsible is very stressful.

She’s neither the noisy type inside the room (as a respect to her professor), well to her seatmates—she is. But she believes that whatever she shared to her seatmate, it is something interesting. Another behavior she do in class, since she believe she’s knows MBTI the best in her class, she observes the people around her and try to type them—and she find this very entertaining than listening to her class. She has influenced her friends in the MBTI world, and she believes that her friends also find MBTI typing or MBTI alone very interesting. Because once a person choose to learn more about MBTI, it is deeper than anyone thinks. Normal people would say people change their MBTI in a while. But as a person who knows MBTI, that is hard to pull off—changing types. People think they’re changing, but the reason to that is that a person is simply just developing their cognitive functions in her MBTI function stack. She thought she was an introvert when she was a child. But she never thought she’s ENTP all along since birth. Many ENTPs, from what she read, thought they were introvert, but as they grow up, they bloom.

Now, she got carried away with the topic.

Lastly, if she’s given a chance to type her professor, her wildest guess would be INFJ. But she could still be wrong.

  1. Client’s Personal Background and History

In one operation room of one of Lucena City's hospitals, a baby girl was born, she had pictures of it--where her mom gave birth to her second child. She knew this because it was on her photo album, she had multiple pictures of it proving she was born in an operating room. Now in present time, she is in college taking up BS Computer Science, though a different one since she also chose the course that specializes Software Engineering. But let's look back when she was still a small little tot. As a child, she wasn't much of a TV person and she'd prefer to play outside with her neighbors, which are mostly guys. She got many scars from her playfulness and clumsiness. Her mom scolded her many times, much more than her 2 sisters because she was a bit more rebellious even as a child compared to her other sisters. But that doesn't stop her from anything. She was a very active kid. She transferred to different schools until she settled to one—an International School—in second grade. She was very ignorant to her studies to the point she didn’t even notice she was one of the top student, she only knew about her multiple academic awards when she was in college when she reviewed her previous awards. She was indeed surprised. She's an easy going child, can make friends easily, although she's very selective in choosing friends for a long term. Due to her selectiveness, or what she think is selectiveness, some people find her quite unapproachable. And sadly, this trait of hers was with her until the present time. But when do people enjoyed her company, they want to be best friends with her. But it was always only one-sided. She’s forgotten them easily as they grew up. She had friends whom she labeled, or vise versa, as her ‘best friend’. But she never felt she was being a best friend to certain people.

At third grade, she was elected as the class president that until now she has no idea why her classmates voted her. Call her ignorant. There was one sad person on her victory. Because he was one of the people who labeled her as his best friend. He also wanted that position, but she won over him. She don’t consider herself as a good leader, though. Or maybe she didn’t like the responsibility, only the feeling that she won as the president of the class. And after that, she never ran again at any high positions—oh wait—she won vice-president on fourth grade. Now everything came back to her, she’s been a class officer ever since. Her batch mates may have offered her to run for batch officer, but she always declines them. She’s probably too lazy to campaign.

Since fourth grade ‘till she graduated from high school on the same school, she’s finally been participating/chosen on all quiz bees and surprisingly an art competition. Which until now she has no idea how she placed 3rd in best drawing one time when she thinks other people deserved her spot more.

In fifth grade, it was the start when she took interest in media editing. And since then, she was the go to person if the class has video projects, or if one group needs music mash ups. To the point that they trust her to direct projects. And she find doing those undeniably fun. In her first year in high school, she’s the best in her computer class to the point the project she edited which was a photo—magazine themed—was one of the five that was framed at the top of the board, and hers was at the middle.

She joined the cheerleading team for their intramurals for 3 years. She’s always been the stuntwoman, all because she was light. When people make fun of her height because she was small, it really didn’t matter to her, unlike what would people think. She didn’t join the 3rd year cheerleading intramurals because she had a cyst on her left hand called “gangleoncyst”, which still exist till present time. But since then, she rarely bend her left hand downwards, and when she do, it felt weird and she incepted in her mind that it would hurt and feels bad if she bends it. So if someone surprisingly bent her left wrist, she would act hurt but it doesn’t really. She’s just playing safe, and not used to bend her left hand downwards for a long time now. So when she wear her bandage on her left wrist, it means the cyst is hurting again—the bandage is there to prevent it from bending, and suppress the pain.

Besides P.E, her best subjects since she was a child were mathematics and science. But it was science and history her favorite subjects. She hated or don’t like literature because it was boring for her, it’s all fictions. But that doesn’t mean she’s bad at it. She don’t like reading long paragraph full of fictions. Ironically, she also likes writing stories online—which is her secret life. But reading and writing are different things for her. If people or authors gets their ideas from reading, she get her ideas from what she is seeing. She prefers reading a Geronimo Stilton or Dork Diaries books, which is a children’s or young’s book which full of pictures than good books like Harry Potter or Lovely Bones.  But she did read actual books in her bored days like the first book of the bible—Genesis, The Hunger Games trilogy, and Angel’s fury. She may have read Genesis, and she’s gotta admit—it was a real good read. But as she grow up, she learned many things, making her beliefs change in the process.

She couldn’t talk about boys because it’s too personal for her. But speaking of boys, she acts more boyish than any of her girl friends. But she’s 100% straight. She just think she thinks like a man than any of the women she knows.

Big thanks to MBTI, she has learned and confirmed that it is true that ENTPs don’t really hold to the past and is very excited for the future. And that is one of the reasons why she was so excited going to college than being nervous unlike her friends. They were so dramatic that they’re gonna leave each other, and there she was, doesn’t exactly care about that, and was more excited going to college. And she was right, college was the best point in her life time so far. College offers less drama, more friends, more gimmicks, and more freedom. Since college was the time to leave her hometown and start anew at the capital of the Philippines. Without the supervision of her parents, she definitely found the freedom she wanted. Though, she still knows her limits. Not that her parents are strict, she thinks she has the best parents, actually. But sometimes she thinks that her mom is too anxious about anything, so it was best if her mom doesn’t know what she’s doing. She met wonderful friends and probably the best people in college which thought her many things—be it good or bad. She had her first actual night-out at her 17th birthday, without her parents knowing even until now. She treated her friends to get wasted. It was a fun night for her. In college, she went to multiple roadtrips and outings that probably most 17 year olds aren’t able to experience, and she feels lucky to have such friends to help her experience this. Although, in her 2nd year, many have left the course since it was too hard, and things got harder in many ways. So you can say her social life is slowly dying, but that didn’t stop her, she went online to meet people and write again. But when her social life is starting to liven up again, now she’s addicted in her introversion and just couldn’t leave it. She enjoyed writing and designing graphics.

Currently, she’s in her third year—still a regular student, which is a miracle for someone who’s both studying at a prestigious school and hard course. She hopes she won’t jinxed that. What annoys her this year is that she couldn’t just walk into clubs or pubs without showing any verification that she’s already legal. Third year is also her thesis year, but talking about thesis is boring and we all know it is hard. And just this week, her friend made her buy vape. Well, she did like vaping when she first tried it. She’s a self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades as she is currently typing this beautiful story, programming an android project, about to watch movies in a while, will do a video project for their project on one subject, and continue programming their thesis project. At least her acnes are well paid off. She likes learning. And she loves movies. There’s so much you don’t know about her but the list is long and she has other things to take care of. And by the way, she find herself pretty funny.
