False Hope

False Hope

Have you ever felt it?
The feeling of falling in love
The feeling of continuously falling
The feeling of not knowing wether someone will catch you?

Have you heard it?
The words of assurance
The words to confirm where you stand
The words “I love you too”?

Have you wished for it?
The wish that you two could be together
The wish that you could read his mind
The wish that he could tell you he feels the same?

Have you hoped for it?
Hoped that he’s also falling
Hoped that he’s there to catch you
Hoped that he loves you back?

But it’s a false hope, reality is cruel.
You can never define where you stand
He’s not falling with you
He’s not waiting at the end to catch you
He’s not going to say ‘I love you too.’

He’s only there to keep you falling, and now you fall, keep falling, and will continue to fall.
All because of the false hope that you held on, hoping that hope could turn into reality.

That false hope he has given you in this relationship where you cant define ‘us’ but only you and I.
The false hope of spending forever with each other.
The painful, false hope of love.

My late night thoughts turned to a poem. I dont want to forget about it so I posted it.

Have you ever been in this situation?

Somehow it inspires me to write a short story about this. A relationship thats not defined. Where you are more than friends but not lovers. I could totally see Jisoo being the lead girl and Jinyoung of Got7 as the leads. They are both the innocent love type.
