First of all, today is SHINee leader Onew's birthday!
I hope our lovely eldest will be gifted another year filled with so much love and happiness!

Indeed, today is a special day.
As apart from Onew's special day, today- SHINee got to attend and perform in FNS Music Festival, one of the biggest year-end shows in Japan.

I don't know a lot about Jpop but fans who know stuff about it said that it's a big deal for SHINee to be part of this important event of the year. Big names (acts) in Japan gather to perform at this event and it's quite rare for Korean groups to be part of it (especially since 2011). So far, the only ones who got to attend this show were: Big Bang, TVXQ, Kara, Girls' Generation, and BoA.

Today, along with BoA, SHINee performed at this event.

SHINee's first appearance was with their "Wonderful Christmas Time" stage. Not an original song from them but SHINee did really well! A lot of non-SHINee fans (in twitter) started to tweet about 'SHINee' trying to ask around stuff like 'the guy on the center with black hair', or 'guy at the 2nd from the right', etc etc. SHINee were showered with lots of praises (for their vocals and handsome looks!) in twitter.


Next, SHINee performed the Japanese version of 'Everybody'. A lot of non-fans were amazed at how good the boys were at singing and dancing such hard choreography. SHINee were once again showered with praises.



Before and after the show ended, SHINee trended in Twitter.

SHINee trending Worldwide with more than 651K tweets, Taemin trending in Yahoo Japan, Drip Drop trending at #5 in Seoul, and 'Everybody' at #9 in Japan (All Cities). There were other search keywords too (related to SHINee) that trended.

As a fan of SHINee for so many years, I was really happy to see wonderful reactions from non-fans. I'm glad that they were able to know SHINee and shower them with praises.
SHINee works really hard and has been deeply humble ever since, they truly deserve every good thing and good luck.

Congratulations to SHINee for unlocking another great achievement! I am both proud and happy for these lovely five! And happy birthday Onew!
