EXO isn't dominating in just overall album sales - they're also dominating first-week sales!

In a list of all first-week sales compiled since January 1st, 2008, EXO took up 9 of the top 10 places, and all 5 of the top 5. They've broken their own record by selling more than 300,000 in the first week with 'EX'ACT', and they're also the only group to have sold more than 200,000 in the first week (they have 3 albums that did this), and one of the 3 that sold more than 100,000 in the first week.

BTS is the only group that's not from a big label that has sold more than 100,000 in the first week, and TVXQ's 'Mirotic' is also notable as it sold more than 100,000 even in 2008. Seventeen is the only rookie group to have made it in the list (and in top 15, no less!), while Girls' Generation and f(x) are the only females on the list that sold more than 50,000 in the first week. Taemin, Kim Hyun Joong, Jaejoong, G-Dragon,Junsu, Taeyeon, and Jay Park are the only soloists on the list, and Super Junior's subunit D&E also makes their name known.
