Tao once again sat down for an interview session, this time around with media outletSina, to talk about a variety of topics including his anti-fans and the 3 Billion USD inheritance money he will reportedly be receiving from his father.

Sina had released this interview on February 1, and it had immediately caught the attention of Korean media, who released a translated version of the interview on the following day.

Regarding the edited photos of his bare, no makeup face that his anti-fans had uploaded and circulated online after his appearance on SBS's 'Law of the Jungle,' Tao stated, "I'm a public figure, and I thought that every little thing I say or do can be spread to an infinite degree. As I am not the Renminbi, not everyone is bound to like me. As long as everyone is happy then it's good. All I can do is try tirelessly so that many people will be able to acknowledge me."

Tao was also queried about the large--to say the least--sum of money that he will be inheriting from his father, a topic that has generated much buzz online. The singer replied, "In my youth, my father taught me that the gods will help those who help themselves. I didn't know what he meant back then, but I understand it now, now that I've grown up. There is no shortcut to success. [What matters is] effort," carefully working around answering the question directly.
