appearance » Dabin has long, silky black hair that rests up to her chest. It's usually straight, but she finds it difficult to comb her hair because they usually end up in tangles. Her eyes are thin, but make-up artists tend to put on thin eyeliner to give off the more "natural" look. Her nose is slightly flat, so she prefers being photographed when looking at the camera compared to the side. She has thin lips, but when she smiles, they stretch wide and complement her eye-smile. She has an egg-shape face, but sometimes they appear more round when she postions her hair oddly. She's pretty thin, but her height is about average.

style » Fashionable, but casual. In the summer and spring, she likes wearing dresses while adding on a cardigan or a hat. Sometimes she'd wear a loose t-shirt and a pair of denim shorts, but to show that she's in with the latest fashion, she'd wear an expensive bag or purse from a branded company. In the fall, she likes to dress thin enough for winter, but definitely thick enough for summer. Consider her sweater and a pair of skinny jeans to do the trick. Winter is where she ends up overdressing herself. She'd dress with a sweater and have several coats over her thick wool-knitted sweater. personality » Dabin is a very compasionate person. Most of the time, she understands the hardships another one is going through. This makes it easier for her to befriend those who are pitied because she doesn't see them as someone who needs the pity, but rather as someone who needs a friend. Along with her compassionate state, she acts quite mature. Being the older sister of twins, she was forced to grow up quickly in her household and act as adult-ish as she could in order to make it easier on her parents. Her family background helped her develop a nuturing trait, expressing her love for wanting a large family because she loves taking care of babies.

Unfortunately, Dabin grew up too fast and developed an anxious trait. She's constantly worried about nearly everything: her family, her career, her friends, etc. She usually stressed over the smallest things, but what ends up damaging her health is that she keeps it in and tries to solve everything on her own. Her stubborness ends up taking over her and she tries to focus on what she can do rather than what everyone can help her do. Only those who are close to her recognize this trait and Dabin ends up worrying about her stubbornness in front of strangers because it is "not like her" to be so stubborn. She's quite sensitive, too, which also adds up to her anxiety. At times during her downfall, she ends up getting so sensitive the point where she break into tears and take minutes to calm down. Some people see her unfit to become an idol if she couldn't take the heat—she thinks otherwise, and wants to prove that she can do it.

training life » Training life was okay with Dabin. There were many times when she wanted to give up being an idol because she thought that it was too draining. However, her parents continued to encourage her, hoping that she would make it easier if the twins ever wanted to debut. Later, Dabin discovered that she liked rapping more than singing, so she practiced more on rapping (while she was decent at singing). 

pre-debut experiences » She had talked to Naeun from APinkonce before she debuted because Naeun was asking for money to buy bread at the cafeteria. She was quite close to Bomi from APink, but the two lost contact after she went on and debuted.

background » Cho Dabin was born in Incheon, South Korea. Her parents were living around the busy district because her father was a business man who had to travel overseas a lot (and Incheon has an airport nearby). Her mother thought that it would be better to move away because the airplanes taking off always made her cry. So, they moved to Miryang, somewhere far from Incheon, but quiet enough for Dabin to grow up well. At the age of five, her mother was pregnant with her two siblings: Cho Dana and Cho Dani. Like most little children, after the twin were born, Dabin was fascinated with her siblings and promised to take care of them. However, seeing the mess they had caused nearly every day and seeing how exhausted her mother was, Dabin ultimately decided to grow up fast so that she could help her mother live peacefully again.

In elementary school, Dabin's mother was worried that she wouldn't make any friends. So, she made her enter the soccer club, where Dabin did make friends. She was becoming a bit too tomboyish, hanging out with more guys than girl. So in middle school, Dabin's mother encouraged her to join choir. Dabin made more female friends and liked her middle school classmates. However, in high school, Dabin decided to focus more on her studies and to keep her mind away from guys, she asked her parents to send her to an all-girl's school. For the rest of her high school year, she began to study in high school, thinking more about what she wanted to do in the future rather than the present.

During the summer of her first-year in high school, Dabin found out that her sisters were scouted by an agent from Cube Entertainment. Her parents were worried, but her sisters weren't interested. Thinking that this shouldn't be a missed opportunity, they asked Dabin to audition for the sake of her sisters' future. She reluctantly agreed, auditioned with a song, and then got in. However, she got into rapping more and began to rap better than singing.

personality » They seem very normal and polite on the outside, which is something Dabin digs in guys. However, she found out that these guys are more demanding and rude with other people compared to their fans. They are very narcisstic and usually end up getting annoyed easily. Fame had gotten to their minds and they demand perfection. 

However, sometimes they get uneasy when they make someone cry. At first, they act like they don't care, but they send a little something to the crier as an apology. They don't really mean to hurt people. It's just that they think that in order to keep the fame rising, they need to deliver the best performance to their audience. They are two-faced, but they have a somewhat generous motive behind that.

FIRST MEETING » Dabin met them on the music show. At first, she thought they were some nice seniors, but then quickly discovered that they were quite rude (she had given them her group's first CD, but they had thrown it away in the trash). She asks them why they threw it away, only to be snapped out and be told to watch . She ends up crying and running away, but recieves an apology gift from them. She doesn't take their gift seriously and ignores them—by ignoring, mostly hiding.

INTERACTIONS » The only way for the guy to get close to Dabin after their first meeting was through variety and music shows. He had to constantly drag Dabin to be his partner or talked frequently to her. He was obviously cornering her on the shows, and Dabin had no choice but to comply. Eventually, Dabin gets used to his personality and let's him do as he pleases. She later begins to spoil him, and the boy begins to like being spoiled by her. Whenever they're not on shows or meeting up in person, he texts her or calls her when he's feeling a bit down.
