Reported by my reader

I am not sure what happened but someone reported The Lip Biter because the characters are not 18 and they are not allowed to have . 

If you are not comfortable with reading scenes, don't subscribe to that story when it is clearly rated M!!

The site is checking my stories now and if in any case my accounts get suspended, I would really rage. I worked so hard for this account over the past few years to get 3 of my fics featured. Everyday, without fail, I would try to write up one chapter so I can keep updating all of my ongoing stories every other day. Even when I'm having exams, I would use my rest time to write and I can't believe this happened.

TLB is written so I could explore another type of writing but I am tempted to delete TLB now. At least before it gets checked. I really don't want to lose this account. It means too much to me. I changed the age of the characters so hopefully I would be safe. 

I just feel really sad because Stranger's Love just got featured and I am in the midst of preparing a new fiction after Mnemophobia. It's just... discouraging and annoying. Really feeling very frustrated now.

Anyone who has experience being reported before can kindly share with me about what will happen? Very much appreciated!

To the who-ever-you-are,
If you are not , don't read M story. It's as simple as that! Don't ruin other's creativity, writing and idea. Do not attempt to read if you can't handle it.

What the hell? I've seen much more rated stories than yours that deserve to be reported, that was seriously a bull move. I really like your stories, especially Mnemophobia and I wouldn't know what I'd do without it.

wait.... really? your story gets suspended if your characters are under age and having ? TBH, that's pretty bull . I mean, it is frowned on, but it's not something that is something that your story should get suspended for . It happens in society, and that's what I like about TLB , the fact it shows that yeah , teenagers can have , but it can also destroy your reputation, it can destroy relationships .

Also it's pretty dumb, your story is marked "M"for Mature, so it means you have to be mature to read the story . So I guess some people aren't mature to read your story . I really do hope it doesn't affect your writing of TLB . TLB is a wonderful fanfic, and I enjoy it a lot . I hope you can resolve everything~!

Like 3 months ago I got reported for my characters having underaged ... My story was marked as unlisted until I made the necessary changes. I messaged the aff mod after and they lifted the unlisted status on my story. I didn't get banned or anything.

I agree with the person below. AFF has created so many ways regarding matured contents in anyone's work. And as far as I know, those below 18 cannot read M rated stories/scene unless they have an account and clicking the 'I am of age' box lol

As far as I remember aff create this checkbox in the profile setting about age and rated scene. I believe users that are off age cannot surpass through rated stories unless they unchecked that box themselves and that is totally not the authors fault if there are underage users read such stories.

And this person that reported you clearly read your story for her to know that the characters are all 18 and younger. And if her reason is because of the illegal age and having s**, trust me then that she is just jealous at your good achievement because I believed there many other stories out there in aff that use high schoolers as characters. And why just why she didnt bother to report every single person then?

What Im saying here is that you are not at fault at all. And if aff decided to suspend your acc I suggest you say the things that I said above. And you might want to keep an eye on that person too. Who knows if one day there is a similar story as TLB out there.

If I were you I would submit a letter if intent to AFF an explain its a rated story an nobody is suppose to subscribe an read it unless they are or what the age limit is required to read these rate m stories please be careful that person may be jealous that you write better stories than he or she does I hope all turns out will an your still here an not suspended etc..

and i couldnt give you any advice or experience of this because apparently my writing is not up to the standard to actually have people to do such things to me...
just want you to know that a reader here that her day will be brighter if you continue here for one day :D and a new fic after mnemophobia...? WOW! Highly anticipated....and finger crossed! I dont want you to be suspended ><

What happened to you exactly happened to me not long before so i understand how you feel..it seems there are some people have so much time in their hands..read my blog and you will know deeper..seems like ff have new rules and all stories need to change..i wish you all the best..maybe you just need to change their age like me i changed 17 to 18..and your story will be up again. Cheer up my friend ^^

your story is rated M for a reason, duh. i think there are many others rated stories with , like high school freshmen. if anything i think it'll be the story that get removed not you. don't stressed over it too much and don't get discouraged please!

This is bad. AFF is a bit strict about and mature contents, but you can always change it and talk it out with AFF. Don't worry that person who reported your story is just stupid. Don't worry we are with you :)

my friends author who have really famous story ever experience getting banned but she can prove to asianfanfics that her story character is not underage so aff activate her story again. i think you need to make it clear the character in lip biter is not underage because aff new regulation is really strict about underage with , and drugs content. even the author already make it clear about warning content still underage reader can have access the story easily so even aff can't control underage reader i think. i love the lip biter so much so whatever happen i will always support you....hwaiting
