— "Why Don't you try opening up to me for a change?": YeJi never really initiates a relationship. Why? Because she doesn't trust others will all her heart. She doesn't really like being exposed to everyone who she doesn't really know nor feel comfortable with. She'll be social, but only to a certain extent. She tries to change the subject and talk about others when people try to pry in and know more about her. She'll even try to avoid them if it seems like they get too close. That was the hardship woobin had to go through because she just wouldn't open up and trust him fully. She even tried to avoid him until he finally lost it and spoke to her right on. It's hard to get past her shielded heart, but once you do, she'll open up and actually talk about her problems.
— "Sometimes you've just got to be quiet and stay put untill the other person is willing to talk first.": YeJi was never the right person to go to when it came to gossip and barging into other people's worries and problems. She never really liked getting into things she knew was going to be troublesome and hard to get out once she got in. So she always told herself to keep everything in until the other person actually wanted to talk to her about their own problems. When they come to her, she'll never push them away for advice.
— "That's Terrible": YeJi is very blunt. She'll always tell herself to fix that problem and she has tried, but sometimes it just doesn't work that way for her. When there is something that she thinks just doesn't work out or she just doesn't like, she'll flat out say how much she dislikes it. she knows that it'll hurt people's feelings, but she knows that she should say it's bad when it is bad. She says her sorries in the end, but she never feels too good after it, even if the other party said it was okay.
— "Think BEFORE you ACT": YeJi always thinks and plans everything before she initiates a plan. She knows that acting impulsively is bad and that she does have a knack for acting like that. So, she tries to think everything through before she makes a stupid mistake that could ruin her image and first impressions. Acting smart and thinking smart is something yeji would always think about. the reason as to why she does this is becuse of her past, where she was kidnapped in la. Because of this, she makes sure that she keeps herself safe and with people whom she trusts and can rely on. Since she was born into one of the most sucessful companies, her parents made sure that she recieved the right education and go to one of the prestigious schools. So yeji does know many things that relate to her education such as science, math, economics and other subjects. she seems to always have an answer when someone asks her a question.
— "YeJi? YeJi?.... YEJI!!": Being the quiet one at times also makes her the day dreamer. Her mind doses off easily when she isn't doing anything and it's hard for her to come back until someone snaps her out of it. When YeJi is daydreaming, she doesn't really think about anything other than fashion and photography. she always had a dream of opening up her own brand clothing, so you'll find her when she's in deep thought about a new sketch for her future fashion line.
— "You look so bad in that.... Haha Jk Jk!": You can say that sarcasm is a bad character trait, but when YeJi's sarcastic, it usually is to break a tense mood and ease everyone else within the room. She doesn't really like tense and gloomy moods because of her past, so she tries to keep people in a good mood by using sarcasm. Sometimes her sarcasm can get the mood to be a bit awkward, but thats also how she can get other people to laugh. She tries not to offend anyone with her sarcasm, so keeps it limited to her sarcastic humor. however, she sometimes does go over that line once in awhile, but it only happens when she is annoyed and mad at someone or if the other person is someone she dislikes.
— "I need to do this by myself woobin." "No, you're slowly ruining yourself without recognizing it.": Self-reliance. This was a trait that YeJi really didn't understand why woobin and everyone else told her that it was a bad trait of hers. She felt that jobs would get done quicker if she did it by herself without the help of others. But in everyone elses eyes she totally ruins herself while doing so. Sure, she'll get the job done and all, but during the middle of it she would keep herself stressed out and not thinking about anything except for her own goal. People always told her how much she needed to spread some of the work out with others and get people to help her when she needs help. But it's still pretty hard for her to think like that until someone (most of the time her friends and members) takes action and steps in to help her and make them help her by force.
— "You can cry when you're with me": Is what woobin said to her. As soon as he said that she broke down immediately, all of her bottled up emotions bursting right in front of him. YeJi hates showing her weak side to anyone. Not even to her best friends, family, or members. she ends up bottling up her own feelings and emotions and tries to keep a cheerful and polite mask on herself. Ever since the incident in her childhood days, she never really felt anything positive in her life. This was also the reason why she became friends with benefits with woobin, But she knows that as an Idol within a group and out in the press, she shouldn't show any weaknesses and try to become the perfect rolemodel. Because of this, she struggles a lot with herself, not knowing how to relieve herself of the stress she has on her shoulders.

— yeji is from a very famous family. her mother is the owner of jeguk corps. which manages a clothing brand, restaurants, hotel, and resorts. her father is a well known musical actor. because of her parents yeji gets a lot of attention from the public. however, up until she was 8 years old, her face was not brought up into the public at all. only her big brother who was four years older than her recieved most of the spot light since he was the first child. her parents also wanted to fix the problem of her being exposed into the media because they noticed that their children would have no freedom to do what they want to achieve. they had learned that the hard way with her brother's exposure to the press.
however, all of that fell apart on the family trip to the united states when yeji was 8 years old. their family had decided to go on a summer vacation to their beach house in california. however, when they got to the beach house, yeji was soon kidnapped on the second day of the trip by one of the workers who were hired. she was taken away for more than 3 days and her parents were frantic on trying to find her. the police got involved which also ment that the press was also in on this matter as well. the culprit was caught and sent to jail, and yeji was returned to her family on the 4th day of the kidnapping. her parents were so glad that they had found her, but also sad and broken because they were unable to help their only daughter when she was taken away.
the mental trauma yeji had recieved during the kidnapping had not gone away. she was trapped in a room that reeked of the sea, and she was treated quite roughly when she tried to cause a commotion to get help. ever since then she had become claustrophobic and hated to be in a room alone or when it was quiet. she had to be hospitalized for quite awhile and has recovered as she got older, but she still has panic attacks when she feels threatened. since that incident she became more reserved and quiet. she didn't really get along with others until her parents got her involved with modeling and singing. they thought that if she was more exposed into the fine arts and the press, she would eventually be able to recover from her trauma and think about other things.
Ever since her father took her to his musical practices, yeji had become fascinated with singing. she loved her father's voice as a child and how he sang to her to calm her down from a nightmare. Because of this, she started to sing. she sang duets with her father and she enjoyed music because it soothed her when she needed it. it also kept the silence away from her.
When her mother got her into modeling, she threw a fit and told her mother that she was insane if she thought that modeling would help her recover from being exposed to the publc in a uncomfortable way. however, when she would get brought in to a photoshoot of the girls her age who were having fun taking pictures and wearing different clothes in front of the camera, she couldn't help but to gain some interest in modeling and fashion. ever since then, she would enjoy dressing up and being dolled up. she really enjoyed modeling up until now. modeling to her, is another way to be busy and not alone. it was a way for her to train how to make different expressions that no one could see through her true feelings and take advantage of it. Even to this day her trauma for being alone and claustrophobic is not fully cured, but it is exceptionally better to this day. She still has panic attacks when she is really scared and uncomfortable, but she is still trying to get over her past for sure.
her parents were very supportive of her to go into the entertainment field towards life. since her father was a musical actor, he was very supportive and her mother always had the mind set to go easy on her because of her tramatic experience when she was young. she also gave a lot of freedom to her children from the beginning, so becming an idol/model was not a family crisis for yeji. she came to jyp 3 years after her modeling career had started. she had been recommended to take part in a audition for 2pm's japanese promotion song i'm your man. she had taken the audition and got the job. because of this opportunity, 2pm's manager had shown yeji's portfolio to one of the casting managers and had been scouted into the company four months after the music video had been recorded. yeji was first a bit cautious about going into a company other than her mother's, but her father had told her that this would be an opportunity for her to do what she loved to do; sing. because of that reason, she went into jyp as a trainee as long as the company allowed her to continue her modeling career.

— Woobin is a very confident and persistant guy. (just like Yeji) He's competitive and hates loosing in a competition or bet. He also can't stand staying still and quiet when he wants to know something. He'll find out whatever he wants to know with his own two hands, even if it means annoying the person for a week, everyday... He is very well mannered and knows how to treat his elders/sunbaes with respect. He is very caring and and places others before himself, which is one of his girl swooning traits! When he sets his eyes on a goal, he will never give up and try his best in order to achieve that goal. He enjoys teasing others in a friendly way and pulling pranks too. He enjoys playing and watching soccer with his friends and always works out to maintain his body. (though working out for him is a hobby.) Woobin doesn't complain easily, but he does voice out what he thinks is wrong. He's also very social with his peers and never fails to show his sarcastic humor. — YeJi and Woobin met at a photoshoot. It was her first job before she started her training days in JYP. She was his partner for the shoot and he fell for her at first sight. After the shoot he was able to get her number and keep in touch. YeJi didn't think much about Woobin at first because she never could trust men because kidnapper was also a man. But when her jobs continued to circle around Woobin because of his connections to get her wherever there was a job opening with him, she started to get to know him a lot more than she had planned. He was the only one she could actually open up to and tell him about her problems and her past and how she has panic attacks and feels uncomfortable in cramped places.
WOOBIN DOESN'T KNOW WHAT GOT HIS ATTENTION WHEN IT CAME TO YEJI, BUT HE COULDN'T TAKE HIS EYES OFF OF HER WHEN THEY FIRST MET. SHE HAD THIS MYSTERIOUS AURA AROUND HER WHEN THEY HAD FIRST MET. THE PREVIOUS MODELS HE HAD PARTNERED WITH WOULD ALWAYS THROW THEMSELVES ON HIM, BUT YEJI WAS DIFFERENT. SHE WOULD TAKE GREAT PICTURES DURING THE SHOOT, BUT SHE HAD NO EMOTIONS AFTER THE SHOOT AND TOWARDS HIM IN ANY MANNER. SHE WAS A BIT SOCIAL WITH EVERYONE ELSE WHEN IT CAME TO WORK, BUT SHE NEVER REALLY GOT TO KNOW ANYONE INTIMATELY, OTHER THAN THE FRIEND WHO CAME TO VISIT HER FROM TIME TO TIME, AND HER BIG BROTHER.
WOOBIN DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHY, BUT JUST WATCHING YEJI WITH OTHER MALE MODELS ANNOYED HIM TO THE EXTENT WHERE HE WOULD HAVE A REALLY BAD DAY FOR THE REST OF OF THE DAY. THE WAY SHE BRUSHED HER HAIR OUT OF HER FACE AND OVER HER SHOULDER MADE HER SEEM VULNERABLE AND WEAK. HE WANTED TO KNOW HER SO MUCH AND BE THE PERSON NEXT TO HER. HE USED ALL THE CONNECTIONS HE COULD GET WITH HIS OWN POWER TO GET HER AT ALL OF THE OPEN JOBS WITH HIM.
BUT WHEN WOOBIN WAS GOING TO ASK HER OUT, HE OVER HEARD YEJI SPEAKING TO HER BEST FRIEND ABOUT HOW SHE COULDN'T TRUST MEN. SHE HAD been friends with benefits with MBLAQ's Lee Joon after a photoshoot and had always been with him WHEN SHE WAS FEELING DEPRESSED OR ALONE, WHICH WAS THE REASON WHY YEJI WAS BEING LECTURED BY LINA THEN. BECAUSE OF THAT WOOBIN HAD GIVEN UP ON ASKING HER OUT right then, and had become angry about the fact that lee joon was the one who was with yeji when he wasn't.
on the last day of the photoshoot, the staff had decided to go out and have a good job/ final day drinking party at a club. FROM THAT NIGHT, ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER AND woobin and yeji ENDED UP IN BED TOGETHER... VERY DRUNK. it started when yeji was pulled into the dance floor by one of the female staff members after a couple of shots. yeji didn't really like the idea of dancing on the dance floor because of two reasons:
1. she wasn't great at dancing
2. she was claustrophobic.
so when she was pulled on the stage, she tried to back away as quickly as possible. when she felt the area around her spn and blur, she knew that it wasn't going to be a great night. just when she felt her panic attack, she was pulled into woobin's embrace. he quickly pulled her into a private room, locking the door and tried to help her.
she felt her breathing quicken and her mind going out of control as she attempted to calm herself down. woobin had looked at her and tried to calm her down and help her breathing. when he felt that he wasn't helping her, he abruptly kissed her. and for some reason that calmed yeji down and her panic attack depelted. when she asked him how and why he did that, his excuse was: "I once read that if you hold your breath, you can stop a panic attack... so when i kissed you, you held your breath..." and he kept on rambling on about how he read multiple books and such about panic attacks just for her, which yeji was sick of hearing, since he just wouldn't stop rambling.
so in the spur of the moment, she kissed him so he would stop talking which led to a full on make out session. the make out session eventually led them to woobin's condo and a night together, tangled in the sheets. when yeji woke up the next morning next to woobin, she abrputly got her clothes and tried to leave his place as fast as she could. but as she was trying to leave the condo, woobin had stopped her from leaving. he wanted her to stay and he also told her how he hoped that this incident wouldn't change their relationship in a bad way. but yeji on the other hand didn't know if she could act as if nothing happened in between them. since woobin didn't want yeji to block him out, he confessed to her about how he heard her and lina talking about being friends with benefits with mblaq's lee joon. he told her that if she was uncomfortable being with him on just a friend basis after this incident, he wouldn't mind being friends with benefits with her because they both knew that they enjoyed the night together.
Since yeji knew that she really did enjoy the night with woobin, she agreed. afterall, woobin was one of the few people who actually knew about her past and her family. he was the one who she found really easy to talk to after she got to know him. he was trustworthy and would never betray her. he was just that nice to her. so ever since that incident, THE TWO BECAME FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS, AND now IT HAS BEEN ABOUT A YEAR SINCE THAT RELATIONSHIP HAD STARTED.

People don't really understand their relationship, but they just think that the two of them are just in denial. eventhough the two of them are not dating, they still always hangout together on a daly basis. when the two of them have their own free time and days off, they would always meet at night, and sometimes in the daytime when they both didn't have any plans. but they would always have time for each other during the night, since they both knew that at night, it was the time for just them and no one else.
when the two of them meet to hang out and spend time togehter, the would usually go to woobin's place to drink, watch a movie, etc. but they also go out to drink at times too, but usually when it isn't packed and cramped, which could get yeji to have another panic attack.

— Woobin is a very confident and persistant guy. (just like Yeji) He's competitive and hates loosing in a competition or bet. He also can't stand staying still and quiet when he wants to know something. — YeJi and Woobin met at a photoshoot. It was her first job before she started her training days in JYP. She was his partner for the shoot and he fell for her at first sight. After the shoot he was able to get her number and keep in touch. YeJi didn't think much about Woobin at first because she never could trust men because kidnapper was also a man. But when her jobs continued to circle around Woobin because of his connections to get her wherever there was a job opening with him, she started to get to know him a lot more than she had planned.
