Tea? Yes, tea.

I've been thinking and I think I finally figured out what things I could post in the Blog section of my AFF account. I decided I would write about topics that have come across my mind and would like to share it with you, guys. It could range from How to do the perfect ulzzang make-up to What makes life worth living? It's going to be about anything, really. Anyhow, as the title indicates, in this post, I'll be talking about tea.

Random topic, but are you somehow feeling intrigued? (LOL) Read on, if you are.

So, as I was making my black tea not too long ago, the fact that people always exaggerated about British people drinking tea all the time popped up inside my head. I thought, "Hey, they don't drink tea all the time. In fact, if we're going to talk about tea, we should relate it to China since that's where it originated" because actually, for me, I think tea is more of an Asian thing rather than it being British. Maybe it's only because Britain promulgated tea, I don't really know.

As that train of thought about tea travelled on in my head, I forgot that I haven't actually put in the hot water for my black tea. (Hahahahaha!) So, that's exactly what I did because how else was I going to drink it, right?

Also, I find it fascinating how little things like tea can have such a wide background. For example, China established tea as a medicinal drink, or in the 16th century it made it to the West via Portugese priests and merchants, or it wasn't actually until the 17th century that drinking tea became fashionable amongst the British, who then introduced it to their connections in India merely to bypass monopoly in China. I'm actually googling facts as I'm writing this paragraph, but wow. Britain, how could you? (LOL)

But anyhow, after reading those, even though it's very, very short, you're probably wondering what other things go on inside my head other than tea. (Hahaha)

Thanks for reading this, though, if there's anyone who have made it this far. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))

Do you like tea? Black tea? Iced tea? Bubbletea? (Hahahahahahaha~) If so, what type of tea is your favourite? Comment it below, and also, I'd like to know what you thought of this really random blog post. But then again, I think the purpose of a blog is to write stuff like these, right? I have no idea, but oh well.
